This is how I fall asleep all the time. Mom has taken several pictures where my legs are sticking out the crib rails.
With a little bit of faith and a whole lot of trust in God, Mommy & Daddy prayed that I would finally get to meet them one day. And look, here I am!...and so became my middle name "Faith."

Every morning, the dogs (the black one is Rebekah & Jacob's dog, Casey) come over and stand at the window. Since I am taller now, I get to give them treats! Libby is a little picky - sometimes she is weird and won't eat while we're watching her. But Casey eats treats anytime - so that's why she's the only one getting fed! The bottom picture is me giving Libby a kiss.

I am feeding myself for the first time from these new spoons mom bought for me. I had to have some help getting the yogurt into the spoon, but I did pretty good getting it into my mouth!

Our church always has "baby day" where the babies born the last year or so go up front and get recognized. That morning, I got up at 6:00!, which mom & dad were mad at first until I was ready to take a nap at 8:00...it worked out great, because I got up at 10 and we had to be at church for our group picture at 10:10! I was in a great mood. I was the only baby that wouldn't sit on her mom's lap though - I only wanted dad to hold me.

This is our family Easter picture. We had to take lots of shots because mom was using the timer. I would either not be looking or mom & dad looked goofy. I was also very tired because Sunday's are bad days for me. I usually take a nap at 10:00 and that's right in the middle of Sunday School. There is way too much going on in the nursery for me to fall asleep. Besides, who DOESN'T like sleeping in their own bed?!

I love to play with the remote - my mom & dad won't let me use this one anymore. I ruined a different one because of my spit, so they bought me my own for my birthday. Whether it's mom's pajamas, her Tupperware, lids, the coasters in the coffee table...I love to take (ok throw) stuff out of drawers. Then mom gets to pick everything up! Mom also gave me her old keyboard from when she was little. I love to play it - I even know how to turn it on!

This is my dog Libby. We are watching VeggieTales (of course) together. I have also been chewing on my fingers a lot because my 1st year molars are coming in. I already have one poked through on the top right! That makes 9!!

I love to ride around on my lion and talk on my cell phone! Mom gave me her old cell phone and she's nice enough to charge it up for me so it still makes noise and shows the pictures!

I really don't like to wear hats, but daddy thought it would be cute to try to get some shots of me wearing his John Deere and Heritage Seeds (where dad works) hats. As you will see, I gave about half & half in terms of cooperation.

This is a slideshow of my party the very next night with my mommy's side of the family. I had the same schedule because it worked pretty good the night before. I really got into my cake more - I knew I liked it!! But, I was not very helpful at opening presents...I had lots to open and I guess that's why there isn't any pictures of that...my mom unwrapped pretty much all of them. But I do know that I liked everything I got - my Aunt Becky likes to keep me fashionable!

Hi there! Mom thought she'd try this slideshow thing instead of emailing everybody and having them sign in to Kodak. Hopefully, in the future, we'll just keep updating this and put pictures on here. That way, you can look at the blog anytime you want and see if mom's updated it. Enjoy my pictures of my first birthday party...this party was enjoyed by my daddy's side of the family. I took a nap right before (which mom & dad made me so I wouldn't be grumpy). I ate my supper, dug in to my cake, then unwrapped all my presents. I got some cute new clothes, toys, books, puzzles, and lots of money to go towards a new swing set! Mom said I was good at helping her unwrap and daddy videoed everything.
