On December 20, my Aunt Becky (Aunt B), graduated from Eastern and we celebrated beforehand by going out to eat. Grandma's glasses make me look smart, and I enjoyed helping Aunt B open some of her presents. Congratulations Aunt B - love you!

My Best Friend

This is my friend Aubree. Every week I look forward to seeing her - when our mommies can work it out, she gets to come over to my house every Mon. or Wed., and I get to go to her house on Friday's for a play-date. We have so much fun playing together. But by about 1:30-2:00, which is what time we usually go home, we are both pretty tired and crash until supper.

Yes, it's a little late to be blogging about the Superbowl, but my dad is a huge Steelers fan and always has been. I love watching football and daddy couldn't wait to put me in his old helmet. Go Steelers!

Surprise!

My mom and I have been teaming up to try and get daddy to let us have a kitty. He told mom he promised to get us one LAST Spring...well, it never happened. I really like the kitties at my grandma & grandpa's house and wanted one soo bad. One day while mommy & I were shopping in Decatur, daddy called and told us to hurry home - he had a surprise for us! We walked in the door to find daddy sitting in the entryway with this 6 wk. old kitty on his lap!! For any of you that know daddy's love for cats - that was a surprise in and of itself! He picked it up from a couple of our friends, bought it food and litter, and had it all ready for her when we got home! Mom was shocked! Mommy kept asking me what I wanted to name HER and all I would say was "daddy", so one day after playing Ring Around the Rosy many many times, mommy asked if I wanted to name her Rosy...I thought sure - why not?! I love her (thanks daddy) and ask her to come in every morning (she lives in the garage - daddy's orders)! However, Rosy gets to come in a lot more when daddy is gone for meetings and stuff for work - but shh - he doesn't know that.
