It's been a week since my baby kitties left to go to a new home. 2 little girls, Julia & Jade came & took Blackie, Cheetah, & Purrl to live at their house. I wasn't sad because we still have Rosi - the mommy kitty and we got to keep one - Cheeto, the all orange one! That's me with him in the last picture. He's so cute! I went out everyday to the garage and played with them - putting them in my wagon, throwing them out, (yeah, I got in trouble for doing that - by mommy of course, daddy said "do it again!") & I also liked bringing them inside. I'm glad the 3 went to a good home & I want to go visit them sometime! Baby kitties are soo fun!!

Fun at the Fair
On Daddy's birthday this year, we all went to the Shelby County Fair to watch Rebekah & Jacob show their pigs. I can't sit still and watch at all, I would much rather run around! I liked going over to Rebekah & Jacob's house to see the pigs and feed them when they were here, but at the fair - I was so interested in the rabbits! I was always asking someone to take me over to see them. Mommy was REALLY happy I liked rabbits better than pigs - pigs stink waaay too much!!!!! Anyway, at the end, when Rebekah was done and Jacob got a turn, I thought I wanted to try showing like them...as you can tell by the expression on my face, I think I'm too girly!

Vacation to NY
Every year, we try to get together with daddy's cousins out in NY. We usually make the trip in the summer and they come down during the winter. We went over the 4th of July and had so much fun. I really enjoyed playing with Morgan (who is 1 month younger than me) and all her toys! We shared everything and were very kind to each other! Our mothers were impressed because that's hard for 2 year olds to do! Here are some of the things we did which you can see in the slideshow. We went to the zoo, the black dots on my face are from using mommy's makeup, Morgan had a swingset we liked to play on, we visited 6 Flags again this year where Morgan & I rode the log flume with our dads. That was a blast! I still say "go through the tunnel -- SPLASH!" Morgan has a new baby brother, Mason, who I liked holding, and finally, the pictures of me riding on the suitcase is how dad gets me and our luggage from the car to our hotel room. Now that's a good way to travel! :)

Bike Camp
Daddy usually helps with Bike Camp at Little Galilee every year and this year, the 3 of us tried a few days...The first night was NOT good. We took my pack & play but started out sleeping with mom in a twin size bunk bed (bottom of course), because the Jr High kids didn't go to bed til 11:00 which was waaay past my bed time. So lights still had to be on and the noise kept me awake. I finally fell asleep VERY close (on top of) mommy. She probably got about 2 hours sleep because of me rolling all over her and her waking up to check that I wasn't hitting my head. I guess I had a tendency to scoot to the front of the bed & right there is a metal railing. At about 4am, I woke up & wanted my milk which was in another room, AND my daddy. So here I was crying & woke Daddy up from again, another room. He came out & this is how we (I) slept till about 7am. Mom & Dad woke up saying never again!!
The next night, mommy moved my bed to the side of her bed (instead of the head) and put me in there early while she fell asleep (not really) in her bed. I slept like a log. So maybe we'll try it again next year!
I did have a lot of fun playing with Brogan & Titus - the Rennert's kids. I still ask about them from time to time. I also really enjoyed riding in my bike trailer during the day - which a VERY tired daddy, from getting no sleep the night before, pulled the whole time. :)

As you well know, planting season got off to a late start, but here's Jacob & me riding with my daddy when he helped work ground at our house.

Vacation to Chicago
We took a weekend and went to Chicago...we stayed at the Fairmont Hotel downtown...last time we went on vacation was to the WI Dells and our resort had it's own waterslide! I was sad because the Fairmont didn't even have a pool. Mommy & Daddy drove around forever looking for me a playground. They found one after an hour of driving around just looking for a free parking spot. FREE is not part of downtown Chicago!! Daddy sat in the vehicle in a bus pick-up zone while mommy & I went across the street to play. It wasn't the same as a waterslide, but still fun. They also took me to Navy Pier to the Children's Museum where I got soaked playing in the water, and to Lincoln Park Zoo. I was zonked out by the end of the day!

Scovill Zoo
For Mother's Day this year (I know, long time ago), we took Mommy out to eat then since she likes the zoo like me, we went to Scovill in Decatur for the afternoon. This year, the weather was much better (my first time last year it was freezing & rainy)! I don't stay long & watch the animals. I look then say "let's see somefin else." My favorite animal is the zebra, but when I saw they had a really nice playground -- that's all I cared about!

Summer Fun
This is my new swingset that Daddy, Uncle David, Pappy, & Chad Schinzler helped build for me! I love it!!!!! I have been playing on it all summer & enjoy when Rebekah & Jacob come over too! Mom hasn't taken any pictures yet, but Libby likes to climb up the rock wall & we have been trying to get her to go down the slide. The other day, my cat Rosi climbed on it & I let her have a turn going down the slide! That was pretty funny. My favorite thing is walking back up the slide & going down backwards on my belly. If daddy is outside w/ me, I like going across the rings too. They did a good job! Thanks guys!!
