Swimming

Here are some shots that mommy took when we were swimming in IA. I am a fish when it comes to swimming - get that from mommy. However, the water was too cold for her this time, so I swam with daddy & Pappy. I love jumping off the sides, and mom convinced me to close my eyes and mouth while daddy dunked me under the water. You can tell which pictures I was getting ready to go under!

Jr. Olympics

At the beginning of August, we went to Des Moines, IA to watch Rebekah compete in the Jr. Olympics. After daddy told me we were going on vacation again (we had just gone to a Cardinal game in St. Louis), I said "We ALWAYS go on vacation!" I like going places and had a lot of fun here. We got to watch Rebekah jump (which I would like to do someday), go to the zoo, and I played mini-golf for the first time! After watching Rebekah (which she did awesome), everybody came to our hotel room & ate pizza. Mommy & Daddy played cards while I played with Rebekah & Riley Wildt...we went up & down the stairs, rode the elevator, and colored. Right now, I am settling on doing somersaults and seat drops on my mini-trampoline (mommy & daddy's bed)!

MeMe's Birthday

MeMe's Birthday is July 31st, and we celebrated by taking her & Pappy, and Jacob & Rebekah to a St. Louis Cardinals game. Just mommy, daddy & I went a day early & went to another Cards game the night before. I learned when to say "Charge" & showed Uncle David & Aunt Karen the next night how "punch the air" - they surprised me & met us all there. The games were a lot of fun & I did really good. Daddy had tickets for a party room & mom says it was probably a good thing cause I did a lot of running around! She's not sure if I could last the whole game if we had regular stadium seats. I was really tired when we got back to our hotel...I slept in the next morning until after 10! We were planning to go to the St. Louis zoo, but it was raining so we went to the City Museum instead. I think I was too little for a lot of the things, but I had fun going down the big slides & stuff with Jacob & Rebekah. It was really HOT in there...I think everybody decided to go there that day! We're going to try it again sometime when I'm a little older because it's a really cool place!
